Get to Know Me

Born and raised in Coventry, I graduated from Nottingham University in 1983 and gained a Masters in Health Economics from York University in 1984.  I'm married, with two adult children and I have lived in Warwickshire for the last 20 years.

After successful careers with a leadership consultancy and working as a Strategy Director for the NHS in London, I re-trained as a professional coach.  I have spent most of my career working for the NHS and continue to work with the NHS Leadership Academy.

You can find out more about me on LinkedIn.

I have also joined and become an active member of the Green Party.  Individually we are all different, living in different communities in different countries, and yet we all breathe the same air and share the same planet.  Our lifestyles, our obsessions with increasing personal wealth, come at the cost of polluting our environment and destroying the diversity that ultimately supports us.  I believe that we need to radically change how we think, how we behave and how we work together within our communities, before the damage becomes irreparable.

Self-employed, I now have the autonomy and flexibility to work with people committed to making change in their working life.  As a coach, I aim to increase the choices available to you and help you to identify actions that will put you more in charge of your future.

My approach to coaching is values-based and builds on existing strengths, enhancing my clients’ natural resourcefulness.  By listening attentively, by creating time and space to think and through skilled questioning, I can help you find your own answers, raising your levels of self-awareness.  And at the end of each session, I will ask you to consolidate the discussion into practical actions that will move you forward.
